The Work

A run of launch content for SharkNinja’s newest categories: a CG product film for the Shark CryoGlow LED skincare mask, the Shark FlexFusion styler taken from storyboard animatic through CG shots, VFX and type, a cutaway animation of the robot vacuum’s self-empty base, and the full screen package behind SharkNinja’s keynote at IFA Berlin 2024.

The Approach

Every product got its own language under one brand: CryoGlow floats on a pink particle wave that later became the IFA stage backdrop; FlexFusion lives in warm window light with the styler as the hero; the robot base is shown from the inside, debris and water and all. Animatics were cut with real CG scenes dropped in early, so the client approved the film, not a promise of one.

Product Launch

Shark CryoGlow

An LED mask with under-eye cooling, four light modes and a cabled remote — launched into a category Shark had never been in. Shown in the order it was made: two storyboard animatics in June, the boards, the CG look development, the first rough cut with its FPO cards in August, the finished :30 and :52 films in September, and the sequence as it reached SharkNinja’s IFA keynote.

Shark FlexFusion

A wet-to-dry styler that straightens with air and heated ceramic together. The spot was built in the order a launch actually runs: storyboards cut into a 30-second animatic, CG scenes dropped in as they finished, VFX on the live-action plates, and a set of typographic claims for the cutdowns. Hover any square to play.

Shark Robot — Self-Empty Base

The base does four things nobody can see from the outside: pulls debris out of the robot, fills the clean-water tank, washes the mop pad and dries it. So the animation opens the base up — a cutaway with the debris path lit, and a series of renders that stage each job in a real room.
