Every cover, static and in motion — one borrowed artifact per release, one process
An independent label run from New York. I art-direct every release: one borrowed artifact — blackletter, a Rousseau, a still life, a statue — pushed through one digital process, and every cover shipped as motion.
Xerxes was a pool statue scanned on a phone, on vacation, under a deadline — decimated, lit, and pushed through particle systems until it became the cover and the video.
Low Key Recs is an independent electronic music label I founded and ran — releasing bass music, UK garage, grime, and experimental electronic across Bandcamp, Spotify, Apple Music, and all major platforms. Every release got the full treatment: album artwork, animated visuals for social and streaming, and marketing materials.
Everything. A&R, creative direction, album artwork design, animated artwork for Spotify Canvas and social, music video production, brand identity, email marketing, and distribution. Each release was a complete visual project built from scratch.
Low Key Recs · music label

One borrowed artifact per release — blackletter, a Rousseau, a still life, a statue — run through a single digital process. Type carries the brand. Every cover also ships as motion.

Scanned from a pool statue on a phone — on vacation, under a deadline — then decimated, lit, and pushed through particle systems until it became the cover and the video.

The figure re-emitted as particles, lit and staged. The fifth step is the cover beside it.
Xerxes, end to endHow the Norfik cover was made, including the five versions that didn't ship.
A classical figure opened in the viewport. Everything after this is about breaking her apart.
A release ships in three formats: the 16:9 visualizer for YouTube, the 1:1 for feeds and Spotify Canvas, the 9:16 for stories with the track name burned in. Same artifact, same process, re-staged for each frame — Nikes' Texas Gold as the worked example. Hover the tall ones to play.
Every release again, one at a time and at full size — the still on the left, the loop on the right.
